Bourbon Glazed Filets w/ Caramelized Sweet Onions

Bourbon Glazed Filets
- 4 filets
- 12 Tbsp bourbon
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 6 Tbsp brown sugar
- 6 Tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 4 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
Mix all ingredients in a bowl and reduce in saucepan until desired thickness
This sauce has been doubled from original portion to allow for better reduction
Caramelized Sweet Onion
- 2 large Vidalia or other sweet onions
- 2 Tbsp olive oil
- 1/4 tsp salt
In a large nonstick skillet over high heat add onions and oil. Reduce heat to medium and cook 25 minutes or until onions are caramelized, stirring often.
